The Way Through

They say the only way to the other side of anything is through. Grief, challenge, anger are a huge part of any life of growth and expansion. If we skip that part then we lose an opportunity to clear what has been living in our bones. Letting go and allowing something to die is probably one of the hardest things we do as humans...especially when it comes to matters of the heart. We can continue to love another and let go. We can allow people to leave us. We can continue to love them. I have learned a lot about this in the past several months. My deep lessons around love have nearly killed me. I cannot unlove. It’s not in my bones. So if I love someone like I say I do, them I have to love them the way they are asking to be loved. Then I have to love myself enough to allow my own heart to heal...
Love is not conditional.
It just isn’t.
